How it Started

Gwennie and David McInnes are brother and sister, and they wanted to start a band. Gwennie was in choir and musical theater for both years of junior high, and is in A Cappella as a freshman at Dos Pueblos High School. David has been playing the drums since he was 7-years old.

David met Max Gould when they played together in the Peabody Charter School band, and have performed together over the l

ast three years at Fiesta, Paradise Store, and the Santa Barbara Art Museum. Last year their band, All Dudes and A Chick, took third place at the Battle of the Bands. Max Gould has been playing guitar for 5 years.

Over the last two summers David has participated in the Rockshop Academy. David met Will Callender during the first summer at the Rockshop Academy. Will has played drums for 4 years, and over last 2 years taught himself to play the bass guitar. David asked Will and Max to join Official Breakdown in November 2010.

OBD plays alternative rock. They have written an instrumental and plays covers of Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, Ozzy Osbourne, and Tool.
